About Us

Background

1. UVB Therapy was founded by Mizan, a graduate of Imperial College London’s Health Policy master’s programme.
2. He has worked for the NHS as a policymaker and is committed to improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

Mizan’s Personal Journey

1. I struggled with severe psoriasis across my body and scalp.
2. I tried countless products and remedies, but nothing ever truly worked — and when something did help, it often came with negative side effects.
3. UVB phototherapy was one of the few treatments that genuinely improved my psoriasis, but accessing it in hospital was challenging. I often had to travel across the city, wait in busy clinics, and expose my psoriasis covered body to staff, at a time when my self-confidence was already low.
4. Being able to use UVB treatment at home changed everything. It gave me privacy, comfort, and consistency — without the stress or inconvenience of hospital visits.

1. All our phototherapy devices are manufactured by a trusted UK supplier, fully compliant with UK regulations and safety standards.
2. Every device uses 311 nm Narrowband UVB lamps, the hospital-grade, clinically proven standard for effective phototherapy.

Our Mission

1. To provide safe, scientifically proven solutions which improve the quality of life for people with psoriasis and other skin conditions.
